Saturday I didn't take many pictures of the car show since I knew a ton of other folks would and I wanted to go DRIVE, but Brett's is always a good one:

On the Cherohala Skyway:

Oh the pain of being stuck behind a sightseer on a twisty road!

 Car show:
Even worse than getting stuck behind that Pontiac was getting stuck behind this:
She passed several lovely patches of asphalt she could have pulled onto to let us pass, but no. But then she DID stop - IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. A very curvy, treed road! This was while I was letting a Z33 friend drive my car to see what it was like - thankfully she was quick enough on the brakes. I'd noticed something on the road just ahead of the truck just before that, so figured she stopped for whatever it was. But then she just sat there. So I hopped out and ran around to the driver's side of the truck, at which point she finally opened her door and apologized a whole lot, like she thought I was coming around to kick her ass. Which maybe I should have, for stopping so dangerously! But I grabbed the box turtle I saw sitting on the yellow line and ran it over to deposit it off the shoulder of the road so we could all get moving again before another car came hauling around the bend and made dominoes out of us.
